**Role involves**:

- Provide generalist HR support for all employees, including performance management, employee grievances and disciplinary procedures in line with company HR policies and related employment law.
- Coach line-managers on ER issues, such as absence management, performance management, flexible working and employee wellbeing.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to improve employee wellbeing and engagement.
- Manage the People budget and report in the monthly management meeting
- Chair the monthly HR meeting with all line managers.
- Administration and collation of payroll information including payroll queries.
- Manage the recruitment process including the onboarding of new employees
- Monitor, review and update all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation.
- Managing staff relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing their expectations.
- Manage and ensure all employees complete the statutory training modules via The Virtual College.
- Manage the offboarding of all employees including conducting exit interviews.
- Using the HR database (Breathe) to access, input and compile employee data. QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:

- Must be CIPD qualified (level 5) and have at least 5 years’ experience working as a HR Advisor
- Previous experience in a standalone HR role.
- Must have experience working at Founder or senior management level.
- Communication skills: to communicate in a professional manner both verbally and in writing.
- Time management & multitasking: ability to use time efficiently to manage and complete different tasks at the same time.
- High proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and knowledge of using HR databases and Microsoft 365.

**Salary**: £40,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday

- CIPD (preferred)
