Manchester, United Kingdom Back On Track Full time

Back on Track is a Manchester charity that enables people to make positive changes in their lives. We run an adult learning centre for people who are facing disadvantages through their experiences with mental health, drugs and alcohol, offending or homelessness.

A partnership of charities, including Back on Track, are working in local communities across Greater Manchester to deliver the GMIRS Wellbeing Support and Integration Service. This partnership is led by the Big Life Group, and the service aims to reduce reoffending by working with people who are on probation to:
1. Improve their physical, emotional, and mental health and wellbeing

2. Foster healthy relationships and more positive social connections

3. Remove barriers & nurture aspirations so people can move forward in their lives

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our respected Criminal Justice team and have a positive impact in recovery and resettlement by working with people who are on probation in Manchester. We are looking for someone who is proactive and flexible - and who will always put their commitment to the people on the programme at the centre of their work. You would be responsible for building partnerships and coordinating activity from the new ‘Wellbeing Hub’ at the Back on Track centre. You would be joining the programme at a period of growth and can bring your own ideas and creativity to developing the wellbeing offer. You would provide support to people on the programme and have enhanced responsibilities relating to line management and project management which makes this a great role for someone who has leadership ambitions in the charity sector.
