The Growth Company (GC) Business Support team has several vacancies open for a Health & Wellbeing Specialist to work across all districts and be required to have knowledge and understanding of the business bases in Greater Manchester, work and skills strategy, growth areas and barriers/challenges being faced in that locality which are affecting businesses.

As a Health and Wellbeing Specialist in GC Business Growth Hub, you will deliver high-quality organisational health and wellbeing assessments at multi-levels for a portfolio of business owners/leaders. As well as, diagnosing and supporting improvements across the organisation, working collaboratively with the business and other specialists/partners to implement tailored action plans which align the people development and business growth strategy, aims and objectives to improve productivity, enable growth and support the client to seamlessly access services and sources of expertise within the wider business support ecosystem.

We work with the best of public and private partners, offering expert one-to-one and peer-to-peer business support, events, specialist programmes, funding and much more.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Establish referral networks into the programme from private sector bodies and networks including banks, accountants and solicitors, trade associations and other providers of business support.
- Work with a diverse range of training providers maximising the use of Skills Map portal to provide impartial brokerage solutions to needs identified at an individual, departmental and company level.
- Work with colleagues across the GC. to cross refer and maximise opportunities for linked services such as Access to Finance, Manufacturing, DCT, Innovation, Green Economy.
- Deliver bespoke health, wellbeing, and resilience development support directly to everyone, department, and company to enable them to fully meet their growth and training potential.
- Work closely with other specialists from across GC BGH but specifically within the leadership, skills, and social value teams to support the development and delivery of the leadership and skills overarching plans for the business.
- Ensure that potential clients comply with the project eligibility criteria by ensuring that initial eligibility checks, prior to formal assessment and action planning are carried out.
- Undertake detailed organisation analysis on the company’s existing health and wellbeing practices in place, using various tools and methods to capture baseline data from clients and identify needs.

- Ability to identify opportunities and be innovative.
- Superb communicator who can network effectively.
- Excellent planner and, organiser.
- Ability to work at a senior strategic level, work within tight deadlines and handle challenging situations that leaders may experience.

**Skills required**:

- Account management skills are essential.
- Expertise in facilitating, coaching, health, wellbeing, resilience, and good employment practices.
- Significant and demonstrable experience in completing leadership behavioral assessments.
- At least degree level business education, or degree level qualification with a management body or the relevant business experience to match those.
- Proven track record in managing a range of leadership issues.
- Proven track record in managing the range of wellbeing issues associated with periods of business and personal growth.
- Excellent presentation skills both written and oral.
- Well-developed IT skills.

**There will be an assessment day held in Manchester City centre on the 25th of September.**

**Salary**: Up to £35,000.00 per year
