HR Administrator

Our client is looking for an experienced HR Administrator who wants to progress their HR career. Reporting into the HR Manager, you will be encouraged and supported to take on extra responsibilities in order to develop your HR skills for the future.
The purpose of the role is the be the first point of contact for HR queries and providing generalist support to senior HR team members, ensuring that all administration is up to date on a day-to-day basis
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Being first point of contact for HR queries
- Being involved in recruitment processes
- Support performance management processes
- Support employee development and training projects
- Assist with employee relations issues
- Maintain technical and legal knowledge through continued learning and development
- Assist with organisational communications
- Maintain employee records
- Ensure safety and wellbeing best practice is being implemented
- Assist with the day-to-day running of the HR department
- Ensure that employee confidentiality is adhered to
**Person Specification**
- Previous HR experience
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent reporting skills
- Good communication skills
- Basic knowledge of employment law
- Flexile and ability to work to deadlines and juggle a varied and busy workload
- Team player
In addition, you will receive a salary of between £25,000-£28,000 (depending on experience) plus car or car allowance.
