People Administration Coordinator

**About the opportunity**:
We are currently recruiting a People Administration Coordinator to join our People Admin Team.
Reporting to the People Administration Lead, the People Administration Coordinator will provide excellent support in all aspects of Administration. To drive the company's values and vision forward and ensure that everything we do is compliant and cares for our colleagues. The role will support the People Administration team and deputise for the People Administration Lead. Responsible for ensuring compliance with the People Administration team and Expense and Right to Work systems.
The location will be based at our CSC, Walsall and offers a hybrid working pattern, with the opportunity to study towards an apprenticeship qualification.
**What you'll be doing...**:
- Maintain employee records, including personnel files and systems
- Processing information for payroll, including entering/providing colleague data for payment, expense queries, and highlighting issues
- Administer colleague offers, employment contract, change/movers’ letters, right-to-work reminders & suspension letters.
- Stay up-to-date on right-to-work and employment laws and regulations.
- Responsible for the review and improvement of the People administration processes & guidance. Also, communicating change to wider teams.
- Check and ensure all right-to-work documents are verified and compliant
- Provide regular management information back into the People function to identify improvement areas.
- Responsible for updating the Team Dashboard monthly.
- Look for ways to continually improve the service of the People admin function both in terms of effectiveness and cost
- Responsible for the expense system and right-to-work system management.
- Update and maintain the ThinkTime platform with accurate documents for People Admin.
**What you'll need...**:
- Working knowledge of HR legislation and best practice
- Experience working in a HR Coordinator role
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with proven ability to implement change
- CIPD Qualified (Desirable)
- High level of attention to detail
- Communication - effective internal communication, supportive feedback skills, credible at all levels
- Good 'technical' skills, having ideally previously worked with HR systems and expense systems.
