IRIS is a small but thriving IT support company based in Halesowen, dedicated to delivering top-notch technology solutions to businesses.
Role Overview:As a Sales Operations Administrator, you'll be a crucial part of our team, supporting the Sales Director in preparing quotes for potential clients and ensuring seamless delivery by organising and boxing up essential equipment for new customers. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, organisational finesse, and a proactive approach to managing equipment logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
Quote Preparation: Collaborate closely with the Sales Director to draft accurate and compelling quotes for prospective clients. This involves understanding client needs, product specifications, and pricing structures to create comprehensive proposals.
Equipment Packaging and Coordination: Responsible for the efficient and careful boxing up of various equipment, including hardware, IT support devices, servers, PCs, etc., ensuring accurate labelling and documentation for smooth deployment.
Logistics Management: Coordinate with various suppliers to ensure timely availability of necessary equipment, maintaining inventory levels, and liaising with vendors to streamline the procurement process.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough checks on packaged equipment to guarantee completeness, functionality, and adherence to company standards before shipping to clients.
Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of equipment inventory, client quotes, and related documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
Other roles include order processing, dealing with suppliers, checking stock is available, keeping the office in order with H and S guidelines and purchase orders.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in administrative or operational roles, preferably within an IT or technology-focused environment.
- Strong organisational abilities with an eye for detail, ensuring precision in documentation and equipment handling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools for quote generation, record-keeping, and communication.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with the sales team, clients, and vendors.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
**Salary**: Up to £26,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and skills.
Location: Office-based in Halesowen.
