Job Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated Commercial / Internal Sales professional to join our team at Swindale Parks (Sales & Marketing) Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in internal sales and be able to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing customer accounts, providing expert technical advice, and driving revenue growth. They will have excellent negotiation and communication skills, be self-motivated with strong organisational and time-management skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Account Management: Respond to incoming enquiries and orders, achieve profitable sales, and promptly follow-up on unresolved customer enquiries.
  • Quote Preparation: Prepare quotes in response to customer requirements, utilising Hayley's bespoke IT system to accurately identify, source, and price items.
  • Administrative Tasks: Undertake ad hoc purchasing tasks, including placing orders and raising customer invoices, as well as admin support as required.
  • Branch Maintenance: Manage and maintain branch and customer stores, build rapport with customers, and establish credibility when providing stock replenishment.
  • Research and Development: Research and source solutions using the internet and Hayley's IT package, taking responsibility for timely and accurate fulfilment of customer requirements.

Salary and Benefits:

  • £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • 23 days annual leave (plus public/bank holidays) increased with length of service
