We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our experienced Rail Team as a Business Administration Apprentice. As part of this comprehensive apprenticeship program, you will work full-time, permanently and receive a competitive salary.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for assisting with sales operations via telephone and email, understanding client needs and supporting sales representatives. Your duties will also include performing general office tasks, engaging with customers to provide exceptional service, and managing B2B web orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Operations: Assist with sales operations via telephone and email, understanding client needs and supporting sales representatives.
  • Customer Service: Engage with customers to provide exceptional service via telephone and email communication, handle enquiries and complaints, and support services to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Supply Chain & Procurement: Gain insight into inventory management, procurement processes, and vendor relations, assist in analyzing supply chain data to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Finance / Credit Control: Resolve accounts receivable queries and discrepancies, generate monthly/periodic billing for key customers, and learn to manage cash flow.
  • Business Intelligence: Analyze profit and loss for the department, create business reports and customer presentations in preparation for performance reviews and contract renewals.
