**Description**:
Supporting the Programmes team by delivering impactful project outcomes through proactive ownership of project related activities and build relationships with project stakeholders. Facilitate project delivery within the Project Management Office (PMO), positively impacting successful delivery of projects within budget, timeline, and quality parameters.

Activity support change management across various levels within the organisation, with clear communication in reporting and presentations, as well as managing expectations across all stakeholders and their responsibilities. A focus on outputs to deliver improvements that will directly support the functional team goals and objectives and in turn, positively impact overall business performance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist project managers in all aspects of programme, project management and project controls, specifically risk and cost management to maintain an accurate schedule, promoting the discipline within AirTanker and focussing on business process improvement
- Faciliate change activities driven by the PM with support from Project Management Office (PMO)
- Ensure project requirements and project lessons are captured and documented throughout the project life cycle and that assigned projects are closed down and archived in line with internal procedures
- Support in cost estimating by capturing effort required by each stakeholder and working with supply chain to obtain quotes for externally driven activities
- Facilitate risk review workshops with the project team and document updates for the PM
- Support data acquisition and reporting of key performance metrics for the project
- Ensure that the assigned projects are reported in line with reporting standards
- Assist in the creation of Business Governance project reports as assigned by the PMO
- Work closely with wider business functions in alignment with the project stakeholder management plan
- Work with the project sponsor to capture and report benefits realisation

**Skills, Knowledge & Expertise**:
Essential job holder qualifications & experience at recruitment:

- Higher Level education, HNC/HND, L4 Apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- Fundamental understanding of Project Management methodology
- Experience in supporting cross functional projects with multi-disciplined teams
- IT literate and have good working knowledge with the suite of MS Office
- Can work to deadlines
- Ability to adapt to new and innovative ways of working
- Good attention to detail
