**IT Change Officer**
**Purpose of the Role**
- Reporting to the Head of IT Operations the role is to lead the change management process for the organisation's IT systems, ensuring that changes are made in a controlled and efficient manner to minimize risk to the business. Managing the key suppliers responsible for the delivery of IT Change and Programs. _
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain the change management process, ensuring that it is aligned with industry best practice and meets the needs of the organization.
- Coordinate the submission and review of change requests, ensuring that they are properly documented, evaluated and authorized in a timely manner.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between IT, Suppliers and other departments to ensure that changes are effectively planned and implemented.
- Monitor and report on the status of change requests, ensuring that any issues or delays are identified and addressed.
- Manage the deployment of changes to the IT infrastructure, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure that the process is smooth and disruption to business operations is minimized.
- Maintain the change management system and associated documentation, ensuring that it is up-to-date and accurate.
- Collaboration with the key suppliers Project organisation ensuring an effective delivery of IT Change.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for the change management process, and report on these to stakeholders as required.
**The Individual**
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess the impact of changes on IT systems and identify potential risks and issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization.
- Knowledge of ITIL or other industry best practice frameworks for IT service management.
- Project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality in documentation and reporting.
- Experience using change management tools and software.
Experience:
- Experience working in a change management role in an IT environment.
- Experience developing and implementing change management processes in a complex environment.
- Experience working with stakeholders across multiple departments and business units.
- Experience managing projects or tasks related to IT change management.
