**Flight Crew Support Officer**

**Purpose of the Role**
- To assist the department managers and wider team to effectively manage and support the office-based activities to include administration, data oversight/presentation, financial oversight and departmental communications ensuring the smooth running of the Flight Operations Department._

**Responsibilities**:

- To proactively support the Head of Flight Operations, Chief Pilot, and the associated management team.
- In collaboration with HR and the Flight Operations Management Team manage the end-to-end employment relationship for the pilot community to ensure a positive experience.
- In liaison with the General Manager Flight Crew and the Manchester Base Captain proactively support the outstation bases.
- Support the Head of Flight Operations and Chief Pilot with oversight of departmental financial processes whilst working within the approved budget for the department and ATr financial regulations.
- In collaboration with the Flight Ops Management Team, assist the GM-F in the generation and distribution of departmental communications for the Flight Crew community.
- Working proactively with managers and teams across the business to maintain continuous improvement within their areas through the adoption of industry best practices.
- Any other duties as delegated by departmental managers commensurate to the role.

**The Individual**
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to include minute taking
- Extensive experience of using Microsoft programs
- Experience of working in a complex and dynamic environment, able to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Strong team player but also with an ability to act autonomously if required
- Thrives in routine administrative duties with a keen eye for detail
- Assertive nature and able to seek influence without direct authority when dealing with more senior colleagues
- Take responsibility to build and maintain positive relationships with others
- Accurate, logical, with strong attention to detail.
- Confident and assertive with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Results-orientated, with extensive problem-solving skills.
- Significant organisation and administration skills.
- Flexible, able to adapt to change/competing deadlines and re-prioritise as needed
- Experience of working with confidential and sensitive information
- Some experience of organising corporate hospitality and internal company events including venue selection, logistics, room allocation and dining arrangements
- Knowledge of AIMs Crew Management System
- Substantial experience of working within a regulated environment and understanding the associated procedures and key processes
