Service Delivery Officer

**Purpose of the Role**

The Service Delivery Officer reports to the Service Delivery Governance Manager. Initially responsible for introducing a new IT system into the Service Delivery department (data inputting and testing) replacing an access database. Other responsibilities include data collation, input, verification and management in relation to data required both to support the Service Delivery function and for Ops Department Reports and publishing reports (weekly and monthly).

**Responsibilities**:

- Inputting all of the flying programme data, mirroring the current Access database information ensuring all data is accurate.
- Identifying potential issues and working with the Data and Analytics department on solutions.
- Testing the reporting elements of SharePoint, providing feedback as to their content and suitability.
- Completing data downloads from one database and transferring to another as well as collaborating with the data team to ensure efficient data flow.
- Writing the user instructions applicable to the individual user roles.
- Once the system has been fully tested and prior to going live, training all users with respect to their specialist role.
- Once in full service, continuing to identify and scope potential enhancements feeding back to the Data and Analytics department for implementation.
- Keeping the planned flying programme updated daily ensuring any changes are actioned investigating any delays or times where the service has not been provided as planned.
- Ensuring the delivery of the business & contractual reporting processes, preparing, checking and distributing reports required by ATrS and our primary customer (The MOD) on a weekly & monthly basis
- Chair meetings with the customer and taking minutes in meetings when required.
- Complying with any departmental audit requirements, ensuring that any findings raised are processed with root cause, corrective and preventive actions within the timescales set.
- Being personally responsible for engaging in all facets of the role in line with the requirements of the ATrS SMS, Quality and Environmental Management Systems to provide a safe and efficient outcome to all that you do. This includes maintaining awareness of the company safety and quality policies and the hazard analyses applicable to your tasking.

- A tenacious and keen eye for detail and ability to manage and interpret data from multiple data sources
- Demonstrable experience of constantly working to tight and demanding deadlines
- Able to make sound decisions demonstrating a logical and systematic approach to problem solving
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills with experience of interacting with both internal and external customers at all levels and from within own discipline and beyond
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access

**Desirable**
- Knowledge gained within an airline Operations environment

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 15 months

**Salary**: £24,360.00-£29,772.00 per year
