**Duties and Responsibilities**

Answering the door and telephone in a bright and professional manner.

Accurately maintaining children’s records.

Managing enquiries from parents and bookings.

Undertake any other general administrative duties as required to support the nursery leadership team.

Upload monthly data to the Early Years Entitlement provider hub.

Compiling weekly registers for the staff.

Ordering supplies for the nursery.

Monthly invoicing.

Calculating staff hours for the payroll team.

Scanning utility bills to head office.

Ensure the reception office is kept tidy, organised and running smoothly.

Must have regard for equality, diversity and an awareness of health and safety at all times.

**Person Specification**:
Must have significant previous administration experience. (Previous nursery administration experience and knowledge of early years entitlement would be an advantage).

Must be highly IT literate across Microsoft word and excel and be able to calculate formulas.

Must have used database packages before and be comfortable inputting and extracting data.

Must have a confident telephone manner and be able to communicate effectively.

Must be able to work independently, use initiative, prioritise tasks and manage own workload to specific deadlines.

Must be able to look at existing processes and suggest and implement improvements.

Must have a warm and welcoming disposition.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.50-£12.50 per hour
