**Events Administrator**

**Manchester Centre**

**£14 per hour**

**Immediate Start**

Our client is currently looking for an Events Administrator to support the Head of Conference & Catering. Liaise effectively with colleagues to ensure that the provision of facilities and services to clients are to the agreed requirements and standards.To provide administrative support to the management team.

**Key Responsibilities for the Events Administrator Job;**
- Telephone negotiations and host site meetings, including tours of the conference facilities
- Matching facilities to customer requirements; and administration of quotations, contracts and confirmations relating to sales/ events.
- Input clear and accurate information onto the event management software
- To liaise with customers for certain events, as agreed, and to ensure that all services and facilities are correct and in place liaising with colleagues as necessary and with clients prior to, during and after the event.
- Raise sales invoices for external activity.
- Provide administrative support to the Head of Conference and Catering and section managers within the department.
- To provide support and cover for colleagues within the Team as and when required, in order to maintain agreed service standards.

**Key Skills for the Events Administrator;**
- Experience in events and conference sales
- Experience of negotiating in a sales environment.
- Experience of building rapport with prospective individuals or groups of customers.
- Good Communication Skills
- Excellent organisational skills

We are ideally looking for someone with previous experience in Events. This is an exciting role working with a fantastic organisation, ideally you will be available for an immediate start.
