The post holder has a responsibility within a Team for the provision of administrative services benefiting the Diagnostic Imaging Department and other service users, observing established systems of work and protocols.

This role will include patient reception duties, manual and electronic duties associated with requests for images, and the handling of incoming and outgoing post.

The post holder will work across all sites within North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust including Peterborough, CCC, Hinchingbrooke, Stamford and the CDC (Clinical Diagnostic Centre) in Peterborough.

Dealing with requests for images from departments within the trust and external third parties, copying these images onto CD and sending out as appropriate.

Using the electronic transfer systems to request and transfer imaging from other hospitals and third parties.

Trigger download of incoming images onto PACS system.

Allocate studies electronically in PACS in advance of MDT meetings.

**Housekeeping the Radiology Information System (RIS)**: This will entail daily monitoring of the report information list along with modality reporting, ensuring reports are placed in the appropriate Radiologist lists.

Assisting Imaging Typists with clearing and typing of reports as and when necessary

Provide support for secretarial team, general office assistant duties including copying, scanning opening post, collation and filing of paperwork.

Scanning archive images onto PACS.

Covering reception duties both at PCH, CCC and Stamford sites.

Assisting booking teams as and when necessary.

Chaperone as and when required.

Use of internal RIS and PACS systems
