**Maintenance Planner Role Profile**
We’re looking for an organised Senior Maintenance Planner who’s quick-thinking and versatile, proactive and can work as part of a team. We need the kind of person who can turn their hand to anything at a moment’s notice to ensure that employees have everything they need to do their jobs and that the company runs efficiently.
**You will need the ability to**:
Answer the helpline and take calls from clients in a confident and knowledgeable manner.
Respond to changing priorities to meet deadlines.
Raise maintenance jobs on our Epix System, Markus.
Issue maintenance jobs to our engineer’s PDAs.
Update our clients via their system portals.
Order and maintain stock of materials.
Update employee timesheets on the Epix System.
Schedule engineer’s diaries.
Arrange booking of jobs with client sites.
Produce and supply of job sheets to clients.
Update training matrix for engineers.
Procure visitor and permanent airside passes for engineers and visiting clients.
Submit required work permits to allow planned work to take place.
**What you need to have**:
Previous experience in client services is essential.
Excellent IT knowledge and the ability to learn new systems is critical.
Organisational skills necessary to manage and organise your own workload.
The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of colleagues and clients, both verbally and in writing.
To be able to work well in a team with multiple stakeholders.
A keen positive attitude.
A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (C or above)
**Who are we?**
Airport Facilities Maintenance Limited (AFML) are a maintenance company running reactive and quoted works through Gatwick, Heathrow, Stansted, Luton and other airports up and down the country.
The Maintenance Planner Team, work Monday to Friday 8:00-4:30 in our Crawley office in Manor Royal. The team is currently comprised of 5 planners, recently expanded from 2, within a larger office team of 20. As AFML grows, so will the team. This is an exciting time to join as we develop and build on our aim to be market leaders.
**What can we offer you?**
A full-time package that includes a salary of £25,000.00, a holiday allowance of 28 days (including Bank Holidays), sick pay, auto-enrolment in our Pension Scheme with a 3% company contribution (after passing probation) and a work mobile.
Our air-conditioned office is professional in manner but operates a casual dress policy. We always have great coffee available and have a stocked kitchen with breakfast options to help set you up for the day You will also have access to free on-site parking. We also value feedback from our employees with how we can improve the work experience.
