Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust has an exciting opportunity for a Pay & Employee Services Helpdesk Officers to join its busy Pay & Employee Services Department.

Delivering a service to over 42,000 employees, you will work as part of a busy team and will be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills to ensure effective service delivery.

Responsible for processing all timesheet, expense, sickness and absence information and assessing for accuracy, ensuring all information is dealt with in a timely manner and processed in line with tight deadlines. Whilst also providing administrative support to all teams within the Pay & Employee Services department, including Pensions, Employee Benefits, ESR, e-Expenses and eRostering.

You will also be responsible for ensuring all incoming and outgoing post is dealt with appropriately, whilst also managing electronic submissions of information into the department.

The Pay and Employee Services department provides a full range of Payroll and Pensions related services to both the Trust and to a number of other NHS Organisations, along with managing the Trusts’ workforce systems including eRostering and ESR.
