This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the dynamic and creative Suffolk Learning Disability & Autism (LD & A) Specialist Service. Admin is a most valued part of the service and integral to a wider group of warm and welcoming 'family' of staff and managers who have been developing the service over the past 2 years and were pleased to recently receive a rating of GOOD by the CQC. The service covers across Suffolk with 3 main community bases in Ipswich, Stowmarket and Bury St Edmunds. The admin team is led and supported by a Business Support Manager.

**Main duties of the job**:
The role of the Senior Administrator is to provide management to local administration team and direct administrative support to the local community teams and team managers. There will be a system of cross cover with another Senior Administrator within the service. If this interests you, please make contact or go ahead and apply

**Detailed job description and main responsibilities**:
The role includes, general administration duties; data collection and maintenance data dashboards and spreadsheets; procurement orders for clinical teams; planning and minuting of meetings; HR recording and maintenance of personal files; exciting project opportunities; line management supervision to junior administration staff.

- Pitman/RSA III Typing/word processing or equivalent at advanced level
- NVQ3 Business Admin
- or willingness to work toward
- NVQ2 Customer services or working toward

- Understanding and experience in a wide range of secretarial procedures and systems at an advanced level
- Experience of working under pressure/on own initiative without supervision
- Ability to work with a senior level of staff at PA level, across a large organisation
- Experience of management of staff/staff appraisals

- Day to day line management
