What your key responsibilities will be as our new Head of IT
- Execute the IT strategy aligned with the organisation's business objectives set by the CTO.
- Provide leadership and vision to the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly in the Azure ecosystem.
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure Azure-based solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend new Azure services to enhance organisational capabilities.
- Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure including user, network, and server environments.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Build and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering collaboration and skill development.
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures set out by the CTO to safeguard the organization's data and systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to IT and data management.
Skills and experience you will have
- Proven experience within a similar role, possessing in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an IT department.
- Strong expertise in designing and managing Azure-based solutions as well as under Azure Security via ME5.
- Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure, security, and compliance.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
