Godstowe is one of the leading girls’ preparatory boarding schools in the UK with over 400 pupils aged between 3 to 13. The girls and boys achieve outstanding results in their academic studies and all-round education. Approximately 70 girls (aged between 7 and 13) are full boarders at the School, living in one of our three Boarding Houses on our 12-acre site on the northern outskirts of High Wycombe. Each House is led by a Houseparent or Housemistress and their Deputy, with other resident Assistants contributing to the care and well-being of the girls.
We require an enthusiastic and efficient Boarding Assistant to join us. This is a term time only role, which includes evening work and half days on weekends during the 33-weeks of term (with the exception of six Exeat/Leave weekends when the School is closed for boarders). Holidays are generous. As part of the remuneration, we offer free meals (full-board) during term-time and the option of accommodation in the Boarding House. Salary is paid monthly.
Previous experience of having looked after children will be an advantage. Full training will be given in all aspects of the safeguarding of children, health & safety and our IT systems.
