**Social Media Assistant**:
The Social Media Assistant is a crucial member of our marketing team, playing an active role in the success of both our organic and paid social media activity. Assisting the Social Media Co-ordinator with the full range of social media activity across all social channels - including content creation, platform management and daily reporting - you will develop a rounded experience of social media in a fast paced and responsive retail environment. **KEY OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE**:
Supporting the seamless delivery of our day-to-day social media activities, working closely with the Social Media Co-ordinator to ensure the smooth implementation and continued development of our social media marketing strategy

Helping to continually optimise and leverage our social channels under guidance of the SMC

Clearly understanding our Mint Velvet values, aesthetic, customer and market position - maintaining a clear customer and brand focus in all activities and decisions

Continually keeping abreast of brand activity, including a keen awareness of our key social metrics and sales performance

Being proactive in driving your own personal development - seeking/receiving feedback on your development for your career progression and utilising training, development and support resources available

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE**:
Briefing, scheduling and, where needed, assisting with the copywriting of all social activity - always keeping customer experience, brand handwriting and best practice in the front of your mind

Supporting the Senior Creative Brand Manager with taking/featuring in social content

Briefing design on social assets on Asana

Supporting on simple BAU artwork updates, providing additional support to our Graphic Design team when needed

Managing the day-to-day administration of our social ambassador programme (managing approvals, monitoring success and finding talent)

Taking ownership of the development and delivery of Mint Velvet Kids social content

Conducting regular analysis and reporting across our key social metrics on a weekly/monthly basis, as well as campaign-specific projects, partnering with Social Media Co-ordinator to develop relevant and actionable insight to share with wider business

Keeping on top of current and emerging trends in social media and innovations in Digital Marketing, sharing regular updates and relevant ideas with the team

Carrying out weekly social listening activity to ensure Mint Velvet always has its finger on the pulse

Helping to manage customer queries across all social channels, working closely with our Customer Care team to respond and action resolutions promptly

Optimising interactions with our communities, with daily relevant engagement with social followers to improve overall engagement

Contributing to the development and maintenance of an evergreen social image library to leverage across social media channels - Pinterest boards, graphics, feed fillers etc.

Supporting the Social Media Co-ordinator with day-to-day management of and partnership with our paid social media agency, including attending meetings and following up on relevant actions
