Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance – Financial Services, you will be working on the financial reporting and financial accounting with responsibility for the production of the year-end accounts and maintenance of our housing property register with a book value of over £1.5bn 

Your key duties will include: 

  • Working closely with the business partnering team to produce the board pack, to increase its relevance and ensuring it is a useful and informative document adding value to the board discussions. 

  • Lead on year end audit and production of the financial statements 

  • Responsibility for housing property register 

  • Lead on tax and regulatory compliance related issues. 

  • Leading a team that is both performance and delivery focused, continue to develop and promote them internally. 


You must be a fully qualified accountant with strong communication and leadership skills. The new incumbent must have extensive financial reporting and stakeholder management experience. Some experience working in the social housing sector or for an organisation with a large asset base would be beneficial.
