**Brief description of role**:
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to provide financial, administrative, and clerical support to our office and finance team.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Download supplier invoices and credit notes and upload them to Xero using Dext software
- Match purchase invoices against PO’s
- Process purchase invoices on Xero, checking, coding, approving and resolving related queries
- Investigate and track down missing invoices/receipts
- Maintain DD’s and repeating invoices Monday board
- Deal with foreign currency invoices and multiple VAT types
- Reconcile multiple bank feeds including GBP, EUR, AUD & USD
- Maintain credit card reconciliations with multiple cardholders
- Manage supplier ledgers, updating supplier details and confirming bank details for payments
- Reconciliation of supplier statements against ledger
- Monitor accounts and crew inbox, deal with related queries
- Prepare supplier payment runs
- Prepare weekly AP forecast
- Generate and deliver reports to various departments as needed
- Assist with month end and year end procedures
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent numeracy and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of database and spreadsheet software, such as Excel, Excel online and Google Sheets
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle interactions with suppliers

**Desirable but not essential**:

- Experience on Xero
- Experience of using the Hubdoc module within Xero

**Working Conditions**:

- 20 hours per week
- Home based, working remotely, with periodic adhoc requirement to visit the Head Ofiice, especially during the onboarding process
- Laptop will be provided
- Very flexible as to when the work is done as long as it’s during our core business hours of Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm
- 20 days annual holiday pro-rata
