Advanced Therapy Treatment Centre

The ATTC Network is a world-first programme operating within the NHS framework, to address the unique and complex challenges, of bringing pioneering advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs) to patients. Innovate Manchester Advanced Therapy Centre Hub (iMATCH) ATTC, is led by The Christie NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder is a key member of the iMATCH team and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of ATTC projects in coordination with the iMATCH Director, Programme Manager and Project Managers (The iMATCH Programme Management Team). Specifically, you will support The Christie and iMATCH partners to effectively deliver the project milestones in line with funder conditions.
This role is hybrid, combining home working with an expectation to travel to site and external meetings.

To support the iMATCH Programme Management Team on the tracking and reporting of progress towards delivery of project milestones and financial forecasts, including obtaining and checking partner reports ahead of meetings and consolidating as required; maintaining and monitoring meeting action logs; maintaining risk registers and updating as required.
The post holder will organise and support the delivery of online and in person meetings at a local and national level and provide all necessary administrative support, to ensure their smooth running on an ongoing basis.
Use the Christie Finance system, to submit and process purchase orders, make payments and raise invoices on behalf of the iMATCH Programme Management Team. Liaise with the relevant finance departments to assist with activities to report to our funder.
Utilise excellent communication skills, in order to speak to a wide range of individuals and organisations on a regular basis, and contribute to the production of reports, press releases, presentations for senior management, to ensure the timely delivery of project milestones.

We run one of the largest early clinical trial units in Europe with over 300 trials every year. Cancer research in Manchester, most of which is undertaken on the Christie site, has been officially ranked the best in the UK.
An ability to carefully plan their own workload, work to deadlines and be task focused will be necessary, as well as confidence to deal with multiple tasks/competing demands in a multidisciplinary team.
