Manchester, United Kingdom City Centre Therapy Full time

Weekend Psychotherapist

Minimum of 5 clients per Saturday with opportunity for more and Mon - Fri, Sunday if desired.

City Centre Therapy is a thriving Psychotherapeutic practice in the heart of Manchester which has become one of the most popular, independent practices in Manchester.

The core values of ‘City Centre Therapy’ are rooted in the building of solid and warm relationships, with all clients, that enable the latest scientifically proven methods to be applied helping people achieve their goals.

City Centre Therapy recognises that CBT has a place in modern day therapeutic practice but also acknowledges that this approach is not always the panacea that is promised, or always suitable. Practice here at City Centre Therapy draws on a variety of modalities that can be used in isolation or combined as part of a multi-therapeutic approach personally tailored to meet the needs of individual clients.

Due to the success of the practice we are now looking to expand and welcome new therapists to the team.

**Initially the practice is looking to appoint a therapist that will provide weekend cover which is already in demand. This will be 5 hours on a Saturday and more or Sundays if desired. There is opportunity to also do weekday evenings and eventually full time Monday to Friday.**

Though qualification, clinical experience and breadth of knowledge are essential to the role; it is the ‘relationship first’ ethos and methodical approach applicants take to establish relationships with clients that will be prioritised during the selection process.

City Centre Therapy are looking to appoint therapists whose professional approach mirrors, and compliments those already established by our Lead Therapist; a ‘relationship first’ approach that has led to the successful establishment of our practice and now its organic growth.

**Pay**:£35,000 pro rata

**Hours**:Saturday 10am - 3pm

Applicants will be short listed, and the successfully short-listed applicants will be invited for an onsite interview.

The Interview process is an interview in person in the office which will comprise of competency and scenario based questions.

Please note there will be an element of unpredictable lead time for your case load to build up from starting. It is however expected that in between 4-6 weeks you will have your full hours covered by clients.

**Please note that due to City Centre therapy being operated by a small team we are unable to take or make telephone calls regarding this vacancy. Therefore, only electronic communication will be responded to.**
