Job Overview

The post holder will work as part of the clinician Rota in the Urgent Treatment Centre, exercising advanced clinical expertise and discretion in clinical care, while maintaining a professional portfolio and leading improvements to standards of care.



Main Responsibilities

The post holder will deal with complex facts and situations, monitoring and leading improvements to standards of care through supervision of practice, clinical audit, and evidence-based practice. They will also provide skilled professional leadership, contribute to the implementation of relevant research, and review and implement policies and guidance.



Requirements

  • Master's level qualification in advanced clinical practice
  • Independent prescriber
  • Experience in managing patients independently as an ACP in an Urgent Treatment Centre
  • Specialist course in Urgent care/ Primary Care/ Emergency Medicine or another relevant course
  • Knowledge of national and local targets, NSF frameworks, and Policy
  • Motivation, team building, and flexibility to meet the needs of the post
