Are you a highly motivated individual looking to advance your career as a Respiratory Healthcare Specialist? We are seeking an experienced physiologist to join our team at the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for performing complex lung function data analysis and ensuring the technical quality of assessments comply with published national guidelines.

You will have a BSc Physiological sciences degree and a minimum of three years of clinical physiology experience at trainee level. A post-registration qualification in specialist areas is desirable.

Main duties of the job:

  • The diagnostic tests and treatments carried out within the main hospitals and community hubs.
  • Performing unsupervised routine techniques within the lung function laboratory.
  • Ensuring data quality by undertaking equipment calibration and quality control for all tests performed within the laboratory.
  • Supporting senior staff in the supervision and training of junior staff.

Estimated salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.
