**Cell Therapy Specialist**
We are currently looking for a Cell Therapy Specialist to join our GMP team. In this role you will work closely with the Manufacturing Manager to support the manufacture of cell therapy products.
**Key Responsibilities Include (but not limited to)**:
- Working in a clean room use appropriate aseptic processing techniques to make cell therapy products to good manufacturing practice (GMP) standards.
- Record any incidents related to production (and participate in any resulting investigations) to minimise impact on the product and ensure manufacturing remains in line with the GMP standards and specifications.
- Write & review technical documentation (BMR’s, SOPs, FRM’s, DAT’s, training records etc.) as part of the quality system as required
- Undertake training in the Quality Management System to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained.
- Timely recording and documenting training and GMP activities as part of the Quality Management System
- To undergo any relevant training activity as required to develop personal knowledge and expertise
- Comply with all site Health and Safety Regulations including following the Health & Safety Policy and work to the associated COSHH and Risk Assessments
**Education, Skills and Experience Required for the Cell Therapy Specialist role**:
- Experience of cell culture techniques and Aseptic working
- Experience of working in a GMP cleanroom.
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, written & oral
- Ability to work well with others in the team environment
**Whilst not essential it may be an advantage if you have**:
- Experience in Cell Therapy and molecular biology techniques.
- An understanding of microbiology
- Knowledge of the immunotherapy
