**PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL NEED TO PASS SECURITY CLEARANCE FOR THIS ROLE - YOU MUST OF LIVED IN THE UK FOR THE LAST 5 YEARS.**
Global CTS are working with a medical company based in Wantage, we are looking for a strong Administrator to join their team, you will be responsible for front line support for 11 Home Office Forensic Pathologists. This will involve working very closely with team members, pathologists, coroners’ officers, police and CPS to resolve queries. You will need to be able to read reports and on occasion view photographs which some might find distressing. **PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A BUSY AND DEMANDING ADMINISTRATION ROLE - NOT CUSTOMER SERVICES.**
**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for all the administration relating to police forensic post mortems
- Collate information and manage each case to completion
- First point of contact for police and coroners on behalf of the pathologists
- Liaising and resolving a wide range of telephone enquiries from Police, Coroner Officers and Home Office Forensic Pathologists, CPS
- Arranging post mortem dates and times with several organisations
- Scanning external reports received into the relevant pathologist’s case file
- Recording details on the database and within each case document
- Opening and viewing of sensitive material such as Post-mortem, Scene photos CCTV and Body Worn Footage before saving the information to the case file
- Make amendments and finalise the graphics in advance of a trial start date
- Maintain and co-ordinate diaries, update with inquests/ trials/ case conferences and post mortem arrangements
- Liaise with witness care/ police officers/ coroners officers to ensure there is no change to a pathologist’s scheduled appearance
- Preparing reports for peer review, avoiding potential clashes with conflict of interest relating to defence work
- Responsible for the disclosure of typed preliminary, final, opinion and supplementary reports
- Record dates when reports are completed and sent to our customers
- Recording, disclosure, service, trial and judges order dates
- Review of cases to ensure information is recorded correctly and accurate
- Managing aspect of case delivery to ensure that requirements are fulfilled
- Preparing spreadsheet reports
