**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Position: Purchasing Administrator (Maternity Cover)**

**Reports to: Purchasing Director**

**Department: Purchasing**

**Work Times - 30hours (**Monday & Wednesday 8.30 am - 5 pm and Tuesday & Thursday 8.30 am - 3.30pm)

**Objective**:

- Responsible for updating all incoming Supplier data
- Responsible for maintaining accurate data on the system to report effectively
- Responsible for reporting the data accurately

**Performance Measures**:

- Completion of tasks promptly and effectively.
- Development of good working relationships with all staff.
- Accurate data on the system and in reports.

**Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Management of the product set up process as well as overall responsibility for stock line product set ups and assisting with any other new product set ups
- Maintenance of product pricing and reporting as required
- Maintenance of supplier information on the system
- Supplier rebates and marketing funds: invoice and collection as per specified terms
- Maintenance of Manual Invoices log
- Assist with invoice and credit note queries from AP
- Assisting with supplier performance review and analysis
- Assisting with the monthly department reporting
- Assisting with new projects designed to improve the efficiency of the Purchasing Department
- Assist the Purchasing Director as required
- Processing Brexit related tasks e.g. IPAFFS and customs clearances
- Processing of Plastics tax submission and EPR data collection
- General filing and administrative duties

**Health and Safety**
- To work in accordance with the company Health & Safety policy
- To ensure the staff understand, and comply with, their responsibilities under the company Health & Safety at Work policy

**Security**
- To take reasonable precautions to protect the Company’s property
- To challenge any unauthorised personnel on the premises
- To report and investigate any incident of theft

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £22,050.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- London, SW8 4DF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
