**A bit about what you will be doing**:
We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join our team based in Farringdon. This role will act as a support function within the Purchasing team. The role will be responsible for the management and updating of the purchasing system, production of weekly and monthly departmental reporting and data management for the Purchasing team.
Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure that the purchasing system (FnB Shop) is updated regularly with agreed changes to suppliers, products and pricing
- To collate information for upcoming tenders and issue out any price changes for food, beverage & opex to the wider business
- Management of central price files for food, beverage & opex and to ensure accuracy in supplier pricing templates
- Management of iDocs - approving new suppliers and GRN’ing purchase orders
- Support to group head of food, group head of beverage & group head of opex
- Manage the departmental reporting function e.g. monthly sales mix reporting, monthly spend reports, category performance reports etc.
- Departmental first point of contact for restaurants for queries regarding information in FnB Shop, queries regarding new supplier or existing supplier issues
- New opening Project Support; updating budget, raising orders, ensuring all items are received OTIF
- Support to Purchasing Director - meeting coordination, expenses processing and general assistance

Key Requirements:

- Organised and diligent with a keen eye for detail
- Effective time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with experience of working with both internal and external stakeholders
- Project management skills
- Strong working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel
- Experience of working within the supply chain or working in a finance team is desirable
- Experience of using a purchasing system and administrating information about suppliers and pricing is desirable
- Knowledge of D&D London is desirable
