Head of Sales Enablement

Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is looking for a Head of Sales Enablement to join our Operations business. We are looking for someone who will develop and deliver impactful, meaningful, tailored and brand compliant sales campaigns across multiple sectors and client groups in support of our Operations growth and execution plan. This role will allow an incredibly passionate marketing or sales enablement professional to use their inter-personal skills to work with the business and create, then deliver key messages. If you have always enjoyed content or campaign creation and maintaining consistent messaging across a brand then this could be the opportunity for you.
The role can be based in any of our key geographic locations across the UK and we are fully supportive of hybrid working - most of our colleagues do 2-3 days week in the office with the rest of the time working remotely. We do see this role as a full-time position.

The role demands an experienced, highly motivated, engaging, persuasive individual that can take ownership of central and regional sales enablement and it’s deployment, articulating customer value propositions, creating key messages and their delivery, as well as a clear and knowledgeable understanding of external and internal customers, stakeholders and channels. The role is newly established in the Operations business so establishing the sales enablement role as a credible, value-add position will demand a self-starting, proactive attitude and a flexible attitude to delivery.
The role sits in the Operations business unit within the Growth & Development function. The role holder will be an important member of the overall Growth & Development network, engaging with teams throughout the business to inform and support the alignment and delivery of campaigns across Wood. In addition, the role maintains a strong link with the Operations Marketing and Communications team to ensure continuity and consistency of messaging.
This is a multi-faceted role that requires an adept and passionate professional that will be responsible for providing the sales teams and client facing teams with the resources and materials they require (e.g content development, case studies/project resumes, client facing presentations, channel marketing, webinars).
The key accountabilities and responsibilities are listed below:
- Works with the central G&D, service lines and business development to create sales enablement plans that successfully support the service line business objectives, both for internal and external sales
- Supports the development and leads in the delivery of service line key messages
- Manage cross-functional delivery projects, including developing content, project plans and schedules for each
- Leads in the capture and analysis of marketing and conversion metrics, and working with G&D Services, analyses the effectiveness of sales enablement activity and campaigns.
- Establishes strong link with regional G&D Services Lead to ensure common data and information messaging
- Ensures all sales activity and collateral is brand compliant, of a consistent and high quality, aligned to wider business and group plans, and coordinated with group marketing and communications activities
- Within the wider business unit ,and aligned with broader Wood branding, helps ensure the articulation of consistent and meaningful customer value proposition for Operations and its capability offering
- Engages G&D Client Support Manager to ensure best/common tool-sets are used for value prop/CoLab etc across the BU
- Take complex, technical topics and turn them into compelling content to drive internal and external sales
- Collaborates with marcomms, creative services and creative partners to drive innovation in content and channels
- Develop strong working relationships with key internal business stakeholders
- Contribute to the effectiveness of the wider business by communicating openly, solving problems pro-actively, offering creative ideas and working as a positive, engaged team member by facilitating the development and distribution of content.
