Expro  are currently recruiting for a Well Access Technical Sales Manager to join the PRT team based in Aberdeen, but do have flexibility if located in Europe and in close proximity to an international airport.

Overall Purpose of the Job

To deliver new and profitable PRT business internationally. Ensure that the appropriate technical solutions are developed to satisfy client requirements whilst maximising company product line and expertise. Liaise with all necessary parties to ensure consistent communication throughout the project's execution. The Technical Sales Manager will provide thoughtful analysis and background information on expenditures, equipment status, and international market trends and technical input to enable appropriate sales strategies to be developed. Measure and report on business activities. Ensure company HSEQ and policies, procedures and any related legislation is complied with and achieve optimal service quality to achieve client satisfaction.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

Ensure the provision of first line specialist and technical liaison with clients and operations Identify opportunities for marketing the technology and seeking new business, then develop appropriate strategies for delivering them in conjunctions with the PRT Head of Sales. Ensure tender and quotation requests are responded to ensuring that, commercial evaluations, business cases and compilation of BER’s are actioned Work in close liaison with Operations and Product Line teams to assist in the delivery of new technology to client base Ensure flow of information across Operations and Product line teams Establish regular liaison with clients. Support Operations teams in driving improvements and opportunities for increasing revenue Develop or coordinate presentations on product line for presentation to clients or potential clients and undertake meetings, technology gatherings etc which provide an opportunity to circulate information on the company products and their capabilities Provide forecast and budget support, liaise between PRT account payable and end user Collaborate with clients in technology initiatives for enhancing performance and improving margins Provide required reports as per schedule and ensure international pricing database is kept up to date Ensure that client technical audits are conducted in line with policies and procedure and in a timely manner Liaise with internal and external bodies as and when required to ensure all information is circulated as appropriate also client questions and queries are resolved in a timely manner. Liaise with manager on any issues or concerns

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

Hold a Professional Qualification preferably in a Technical area Extensive experience within Technical or Sales role preferably in line with a company product line Proficient in MS Word, Data Bases and PowerPoint Financial Awareness preferable in relation to tender/quotation/ budget process
