As HR Administrator you will provide the business with first class HR administration and deliver outstanding internal customer services.
**Responsibilities**:
- Working daily with HR systems, processes and procedures.
- Administration work within the department such as producing contracts of employment, pay review or job change letters to employees in an accurate and timely manner.
- Co-ordinate the return and administration of new starters paperwork, ensuring they are on boarded correctly and in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update employee records on the HR database ensuring employee files are stored in the system.
- Ensure employment references are sought and obtained and in a timely way and respond to requests for employment and mortgage references.
- Manage the employee off-boarding process.
- Conduct exit interviews.
- Co-ordinate the approvals process for internal changes and promotions.
- Support with day-to-day HR duties, including recruitment, employee engagement, disciplinary and grievance hearings as required.
- Supporting the development of HR policy and procedure and suggest improvements where necessary.
- Escalate issues to relevant HR Management team as appropriate.
- Day to day interaction with employees and managers.
- Ad-hoc project support.
**Knowledge Skills and Experience**:
- Previous HR administration experience would be an advantage.
- Good skills in Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a busy environment and prioritise work load.
- Ability to operate under pressure.
- Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets.
- Ability to use initiative and take responsibility with a positive and can do attitude.
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn.
- Ability to form effective working relationships at all levels.
- Excellent team player.
