**Job summary**:
- The Submarine Delivery Agency (SDA) is a part of the Ministry of Defence responsible for the procurement, in-service support, and disposal of the UK’s nuclear submarines. We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at HMNB Devonport as a Senior Administrative Assistant. This role is a fast paced and diverse role with a variety of business support and management activities. Providing you with the opportunity to network around the site to grow your portfolio of connections, creating or expanding on your management skillset, this post is an excellent opportunity for continued progression with your career.
Please note that this role is reserved for Sole UK Nationals only. Please be aware that attendance to the stated site will be required on a regular basis, dependent on organisational requirements.
**Responsibilities**
- Managing key stakeholders across the site to ensure they receive a customer focused service from the Business Support Group.
- Managing and overseeing the Devonport Homepage.
- Line managing junior team members to support with administrative tasks.
- Coordinating and conducting Devonport induction process with all new team members.
- Managing administrative tasks, such as drafting Business Cases to procure office equipment and other materials as required.
- Anticipate and execute tasks as required by the Business Support Group.
- Establish and maintain stakeholder networks across the SDA and with our stakeholders.
- Acting as an advisor in your area of responsibility, delegating where necessary and dealing with routine correspondence.

- Ability to analyse information.
- Experience working with Internal & External stakeholders.
- Evidence of identifying and implementing business improvements.
- Experience in building business relationships.
- Proficient in grammar, spelling and punctuation.
It would also be great if you can demonstrate any of the following desirable criteria:
- Experience of working in business support.
