Our busy division is looking for a Patient Pathway Administrator to join the team on a substantive basis. This post offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and conscientious individual to work within the Children's Hospital

This broad, patient centered and high profile role is integral to the operational running of the department which is currently striving to meet the challenge of additional demand across the service

The post holder will act as a point of contact for all administrative issues relating to patients’ pathway of care. The post holder will be responsible for the daily administration of the Paediatric Department follow up phone line.

The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and will provide support to the Patient Pathway Co-ordinators (PPC) and Patient Pathway Lead (PPL) in the proactive management of the patient pathway from referral to discharge, ensuring the entire pathway is managed smoothly. The post holder will ensure high levels of patient and clinician satisfaction by being an accessible, customer focussed and knowledgeable point of contact.

**Key relationships**: Directorate of Children's Hospital leads), Consultants and junior clinical staff, senior nurses, service managers, administration leads, IM&T, all wards, hospital departments, RTT team, MDT teams, medical secretaries, patients, families, outside agencies including GP’s, NHS Trusts and primary health care teams.
