Opportunity has arisen to support with the growth of the local MSK services at RNOH, supporting Mr Rishi Navarsari Consultant Physiotherapist patients through their pathway.

The role of the Patient Pathway Coordinator is to work closely with clinicians and the Service Managers to ensure that the care pathway of all patients is effectively managed.

The post holder will be required to act as a flexible administrative resource actively supporting patient pathway improvement projects across the Trust. The post-holder will have direct patient contact working with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure that patient care is coordinated and delivered with minimum level of difficulty to our patients, in the service delivery of 18 week and cancer waiting time pathways and other performance targets.

Main

**Responsibilities**:
To assist in the provision of a secretarial service for the spinal consultants and their teams, to type clinic letters and other clinical or general correspondence from digital audio dictation/proof reading from digital dictation

Book all patients appointments working alongside the RTT policy for patients pathways via ERS /Path point system

To oversee all outcomes from clinic, making sure patients attendance / Imaging requests and therapy requests have been actioned by the clinical team

Deal with all telephone and written queries promptly and e fficiently, including appointment booking

Work as a team with the other medical secretaries/administrators as directed by the Unit Co-ordinator/Service Manager to ensure a high quality service is maintained at all times during office hours

Undertake appropriate scanning and filing of correspondence, clinic notes, test results, using Note On

Maintain patient information on the Patient Administration System and the system within the Unit if appropriate

To maintain patient medical notes on Note On according to RNOH medical records policy

Provide cover for other administrative/secretarial staff during times of absence as delegated by the Unit Co-ordinator/Service Manager

Undertake general office duties, including photocopying, faxing, filing and scanning.
