**The Role**:
You will provide professional insight and advice on pay and reward policies and practices, both within the council and support two other London Boroughs that purchase our services. You will work collaboratively with HR&OD colleagues, managers, and other stakeholders to contribute to achieving the objectives of the HR&OD function.
As a specialist in job evaluation, you will use your expertise to ensure that posts are evaluated in accordance with the Council's organisational design principles, pay policies, and good practice on equal pay. You will be responsible for the job evaluation process and methodologies.
You will also carry out research and analysis on all aspects of pay and reward as required, making recommendations for change and leading projects to improve our policies and practices. You will maintain up-to-date knowledge on matters that affect pay and reward in the Council, including case law and developments on equal pay and good practice.

**About You**:
Your experience could have been gained in either a pay and reward or generalist role. You’ll need significant experience of job evaluation and be trained in the use of the Korn Ferry/Hay. Training will be provided for the local government job evaluation scheme(GLPC). With comprehensive knowledge of current trends in pay and reward practice
