Location - Winchester (office based)
Pay rate - £13.06 per hour.
Hours - 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Start date - ASAP.
End date - 30th June with possible extension.
Our client in Winchester is looking for an Events Administrator to support them for the next few months during a busy period. The role requires somebody that has good attention to detail, the ability to juggle multiple tasks and excellent communication skills. The successful applicant will be required to work on their own assigned events from start to finish and be able to overcome any challenges through resourceful actions.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- The Events Administrator is responsible for the planning and providing operational cover for all assigned events. From the first initial sales enquiry to the operational delivery of the event through to the final invoice.
- You will create initial proposals and quotations, follow ups, and prepare revised proposals as required. In response to client needs and to ensure maximum business conversion.
- You will be responsible for preparing, sending, and ensuring signed booking contracts and required pre-payments are in place for all events.
- You will ensure all contractual obligations are met and adhere to the organisation's terms and conditions.
- You will consult with the relevant internal departments regarding the planning and contracting of the events.
- You will need to ensure any contract changes are communicated to the client with enough time to be actioned.
- You will accurately document all finical quotes for each event through the issuing and confirmation of contracts, deposits, and event invoices to the event within an agreed time scale.
- You will need to manage and rectify any operational complaints on the day, escalating where appropriate.
- Undertake post-event follow ups through questionnaire feedback and/or phone calls to help the COM/CRSM identify future conference opportunities, encourage repeat business, and ensure service standards are always upheld.
- Supervise a small team of casual conference staff in the absence of the line manager.
- Ensure all the standards and operational procedures for all events are consistently maintained, including all relevant health and safety procedures.
- Ensure rooming lists are accurate at all times.
- Assist with Line manager with identifying and posting new marketing opportunities using a variety of different social media platforms.
Essential:
- Good IT skills, MS office including Teams, Excel, and Word
- Good knowledge and experience using social media platforms in a business capacity.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working as an events administrator previously.
