**Events Administrator - Make a Difference in Care**
Are you a highly organised and self-motivated individual with a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of others?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dedicated team at Brendoncare as an Events Administrator within our Fundraising team.
**About Us**
We are a registered charity committed to improving the lives of older people, and our work wouldn't be possible without the generosity of our supporters.
As an Events Administrator, you'll be an integral part of our Fundraising team, helping to plan and execute events that raise funds for our vital charitable work.
**Your Role**
As an Events Administrator, you'll work closely with the Trust and Corporate Fundraiser to plan, coordinate, and implement a variety of events, including sponsored events, relationship-building gatherings for major donors and corporate partners, as well as supporting local events.
Your role will be essential in ensuring the success of these events and maintaining accurate records to support our fundraising efforts.
Your responsibilities will include:
- event planning,
- communication coordination,
- record keeping,
- financial reporting,
- administration,
- working collaboratively as part of our team.
You'll have the opportunity to attend fundraising events, contribute to the development of policies and templates, and make a real difference in the lives of the people we serve.
**What We're Looking For**
We're looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to plan and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
While experience in administration for a busy department and event planning is essential, we're also interested in your willingness to go the extra mile, work flexibly, and occasionally support out-of-hours events.
Desirable Skills:
While not mandatory, previous experience in a fundraising team or charity sector, familiarity with Raiser's Edge fundraising software, and an awareness of issues affecting older people, including ageism, would be highly advantageous.
