Commercial Administrator
Milestone Infrastructure Ltd is seeking a Commercial Administrator to work as part of their Commercial Team on the Hampshire Highways Service Contract (HHSC) contract, maintaining Hampshire County Roads and Bridges.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Cost management and value analysis.
- Providing commercial and financial reporting information.
- Preparing clear and accurate quarterly forecasts with the operations team.
- Identifying and managing contract variations.
- Recording changes, including early warning notices, compensation events, and quotations.
- Ensuring compliance with Milestone Infrastructure's policies and procedures for commercial activities.
- Auditing and agreeing final accounts.
- Maintaining communication with clients regarding budgets and targets.
- Implementing commercial processes to realise contractual entitlement.
- Managing subcontract procurements and reconciliations.
- Meeting strict deadlines under the contract and company requirements.
Essential Skills:
- Experience in commercial administration.
- Excellent organisational and people skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to investigate and respond to situations quickly.
- General knowledge of the construction industry.
- Organisational skills to manage workload.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability to meet changing priorities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with industry software and systems.
- Awareness of document control requirements.
Salary & Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. The position offers 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays, generous pension and life assurance, holiday purchase scheme, referral scheme, cycle to work scheme, and employee discount platform.
