Highways Maintenance Specialist

We are currently looking for a highly skilled Highways Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Milestone Infrastructure Ltd. As a key member of our Commercial Team, you will be responsible for maintaining Hampshire County Roads and Bridges as part of the Hampshire Highways Service Contract (HHSC) contract.
Responsibilities:
- Manage costs and value across various projects.
- Analyse and provide commercial and financial data to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with the operations team to prepare accurate forecasts and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies for contract variation management.
- Record and track changes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Agree and finalise accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain open communication with clients regarding budget updates and targets.
- Implement commercial processes to maximise contractual entitlement.
- Procure and manage subcontracts effectively.
- Meet project deadlines while ensuring quality and excellence.
Requirements:
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Proven commercial administration experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of industry software and systems.
Benefits:
This role offers an attractive salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
