We are currently seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Civil Engineering Technician Specialist. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization and advance your career in the field of civil engineering.

As a Civil Engineering Technician Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing surveys and information essential to record the condition of highways and other related sites. You will also prepare information from surveys into a format for use by designers, clients, and others, while ensuring compliance with relevant technical standards and specifications.

The estimated salary for this position is £37,500 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. To prepare surveys and information essential to record the condition of highways and other related sites.
  2. To prepare information from surveys into a format for use by designers, clients, and others.
  3. To liaise with relevant bodies to gain access to sites as required.
  4. To undertake laboratory tests, record results, and calibrate equipment.
  5. To work with due regard to Health and Safety for themselves and others at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Working towards RQF level 4 or equivalent level of experience in an appropriate field.
  2. Appreciation of relevant technical standards, specifications, guidelines, best practices, quality procedures, and UKAS procedures.
  3. Some experience of working in a Civil Engineering or related testing laboratory.
