We have just registered a fantastic new vacancy to work within a friendly HR team at this prestigious organisation. This is a key role within the business and the successful applicant will be at least part CIPD qualified with Employee Relations experience.

If you are a tech-savvy HR professional who works with discretion, tact and always look for ways to improve procedures, this could be the role for you. This is a full-time, office-based position.

**HR Officer Responsibilities**

As the HR Officer some of your duties will include:

- Employee Relations, including advising on, and management of, sickness absences
- Assist the HR director in creating a training and development system for relevant team members
- Develop, implement and manage Pay and Benefits schemes
- Perform exit interviews and develop an effective induction programme
- Ensure data is accurate, up to date and readily available
- Keep up to date on all aspects of employment legislation

**The Company**

Our client is within the educational sector and is focused on providing a warm and generous approach to the students’ progression. Working hours can be taken within 8am-6pm Monday-Friday, with flexibility allowed for school drop offs etc.

**HR Officer Experience**

You will also be able to demonstrate:

- Educated to GCSE level, or equivalent, with English and Maths A-C
- Knowledge and understanding of personnel policies and data protection legislation.
- Attention to detail, work well under direction and also work autonomously when required
- Ability to prioritise, take initiative and produce accurate, detailed work.
- Strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- A professional, discreet and diplomatic approach

Our client’s lovely office is based near Abingdon, will plenty of free parking onsite.
