Call Centre Operator

As a Call Centre Operator, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing them with prompt and professional assistance. You will handle a high volume of incoming calls, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service. With your strong communication skills and ability to work effectively under pressure, you will contribute to our goal of delivering an outstanding customer experience.
**Responsibilities**:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide accurate and helpful information to customers, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues.
- Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge to effectively assist customers.
- Enter customer information and details accurately into the system.
- Follow established call centre procedures and guidelines to ensure consistent service quality.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate department or supervisor.
- Meet or exceed individual and team performance targets and call handling metrics.
- Demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
- Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and best practices.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a call centre or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong active listening skills and ability to empathize with customers.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work in various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly on your feet.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
