**About you**

Experienced in HR Admin, as well as having the ability to seamlessly overcome challenges and work effectively as part of a team to manage conflicting deadlines simultaneously.

We are looking for the right person who can join the team and get “stuck-in” with assisting the HR team during one of their busiest times

**About the role**

This is a fixed-term role ending 31/03/2025.

To assist our HR Advisor team with the day-to-day running of the function, carrying out a range of administrative tasks to support the team and business. Some of the day-to-day tasks of the role include:

- Assisting with the processing of Agency Invoices for our temporary workers within ECC.
- Processing Sickness and Absence details onto our HR and Payroll information system.
- Assisting with recruitment - handling recruitment requests within the Council, preparing Offer Letters and Contracts of Employment and carrying out pre-employment checks and on-boarding support for new employees joining ECC.
- Assisting with I.D checks for processing DBS Applications for new and existing ECC employees.
- Creating, printing, and distributing ID Access Cards for all new employees.
- Placing job adverts on selection of external websites for ECC vacancies.
- General houskeeping of HR files, sorting and saving records/documents onto employee e-personnel files.
- Updating documents and filing.
- Processing and issuing Eye-Test vouchers for employees.
- Any other duties as identified that are reasonable within the HR team.

Full training will be provided on how to complete the above tasks.

We are a small team who work closely together to ensure that the HR function delivers a seamless and comprehensive service. The HR Advice Team, which is where this role fits, provides administration support and is the first point of contact for all HR queries.
