We are looking for either a HR Apprentice or HR Assistant to support the day to day administration of our busy HR and Central Services Team at Devon Wildlife Trust.

HR Apprentice - an apprenticeship gives _you hands-on experience, a salary and the opportunity to train while you work as an apprentice_. This is a full-time, fixed term appointment for two years based at Cricklepit Mill with the possibility of permanent employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

This is a varied role and there will be opportunity to experience and assist with a wide range of areas within HR, including Recruitment & Induction, Learning & Development, and all aspects of the employee lifecycle - no two days will be the same

We are looking for a team player who is comfortable working with a wide range of people. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information appropriately. You will also have excellent administrative and IT skills, as well as a keenness to learn about the different aspects of Human Resources practice.

Requirements and Prospects:

- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office
- Strong customer service and administrative skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- An understanding of the role of HR
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Flexible attitude to work, able to work as a member of a team
- Organised and able to prioritise work
- Good communication skills both written and verbal

We hope to offer the apprentice a chance to stay with Devon Wildlife Trust as a fulltime member of staff upon successful completio37.n of the apprenticeship.

Training Provided:
You would undertake a level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship with Exeter College, which would require attending onsite training one day a week.

Additional Information:
GCSE's (or equivalent qualifications) in English and Maths
