Business Administration Services (BAS) provide professional administration that has benefit to DSTL. In this role you will be working as part of an effective team delivering administration and information assurance activities which in turn supports the Science and Technology Divisions.

**Job description**:
**In this role you will**:

- Provide professional administrative support services, maintaining and enhancing the reputation of BAS (i.e. through positive representation of the Group’s contribution to the business)
- To meet mandated information assurance requirements through adherence to relevant policies, guidance and procedures
- To maintain and develop an effective interface within Operations and the FM/IS Service providers to ensure ability to deliver the full support schedule
- With reference to the MS and BAS Procedures ensure own and colleagues understanding of all processes relevant to role to ensure the delivery of consistent and effective administrative support
- Working with support from the Workplace Manager and as part of a team ensure the office working environment meets mandated SHEF requirements
- To work effectively as part of a team to ensure provision of administrative support within core delivery hours across relevant site.
- Participate in working groups to support continuous improvement activities

**Person specification**:
**We are looking for someone who has**:

- A good understanding of administration.
- Existing knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- The ability to work flexibly as part of an effective team.
- Demonstrates good customer service skills.
- The desire to be innovative to support the vision of the group

**Important Information***

This role will require full UK security clearance and you should have resided in the UK for the past 5 years. For some roles Developed Vetting will also be required, in this case you should have resided in the UK for the past 10 years.
