We offer a comprehensive tyre fitting service at Halfords Universal, which specialises in the supply, fit and service of a huge range of tyres for both private motorists and large commercial fleets. We supply tyres for all vehicles, from cars and motorcycles to agricultural machinery - either in branch or direct to our customers with our mobile tyre fitting service
**The Role**
We are a thriving and established company with a promising future. You will be an experienced and competent Administration Assistant, with the desire to complete work to the highest of standards. You will be part of the Halfords Universal commercial team using your skills to support the finance team to the best of your capability.
**The Day Job**
To ensure all work is processed in a timely and efficient manner.
All areas of admin are managed in an effective way
Stock Control - Effective management of all goods in/out, accurate completion of worksheets/invoices for maintenance of depot stock profile.
Purchasing - in accordance with the company's operating and procedures manual.
Mobile fitting management - including effective scheduling of mobile fleet and accurate invoicing/query resolving
Dealing with high volumes of invoices, statements and credit notes
Ensuring all purchase invoices are approved
Coding and posting of all purchase invoices (including GIN, manual & EDI), statements and credit notes
Ensuring payments are made in line with agreed payment term
Resolution any queries that arise
Plus any additional ad-hoc responsibilities

Experience of working within an administration team of at least 2 years and dealing with high volumes
You must be Immediately available to start this role as soon as possible
Have a good team playing approach
Good IT skills including the use of Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to plan and work to tight timescales and deadlines
Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
