**Role overview**

**Introduction to the role**:
Working as part of the HR team, you will primarily provide admin support to the L&D team, although you will be expected to provide regular support to the HR operations team at peak times and during holidays. The role is hybrid, with remote working and office working to be agreed.

**Introduction to the team**:
As a HR Assistant, you will be part of a wider HR team that supports the firm in areas such as HR administration, employee relations, recruitment, learning and development, diversity and inclusion and reward. Led by a HR Director, the team is currently made up of 23 people, who strive to deliver a seamless service to all Partners and employees.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Support the L&D team with a range of tasks including but not exclusively:

- Managing room bookings and catering.
- Ensuring that events are created on our training booking system.
- Co-ordinating quarterly induction events.
- Managing supply and demand for all workshops.
- Providing statistics for monthly reporting
- Supporting virtual and face to face events/webinars/conferences.
- Play an active part in providing updates at L&D team meetings.
- Provide administrative support to the wider L&D team.
- Support the wider HR team with ad-hoc tasks including but not exclusively:

- Arranging interviews.
- Drafting contracts.
- Processing internal role changes.
- Processing starters and leavers.
- Tracking invoices.
- Conducting research.
- Assisting with projects or team events.

**What we are looking for**
- Excellent administration skills
- Excellent oral communication skills. Willing to ask questions, check priorities and provide ongoing updates on tasks.
- Excellent written English skills.
- Proficient at performing basic mathematical calculations.
- Experience within a busy HR environment preferable.
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, prioritise and deliver to deadlines.
- Excellent organisational skills and able to manage time effectively, self-motivated, organised and willing to use own initiative.
- Proactive and professional approach to work, with the ability to prioritise.
- Ability to work as part of a wider HR team, maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues.
- Flexibility in approach.
- Able to think creatively and generate ideas.
